Lawrence, MA- Patricia M. (Earley) Kalip, 76, died Saturday, February 26,2011 at Sutton Hill in North Andover, with her loving family by her side.
Born on February 24, 1935 in Lawrence, Patricia was the daughter of Martin L. and Mary (Cooney) Earley. She was educated at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Grammar School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, class of 1952.
Mrs. Kalip retired from Lucent Technologies where she worked many years as a quality control inspector.
Patricia enjoyed the movies and dinning out with her friends and family. She loved spending time at Foxwoods; playing BINGO with her friends. She also enjoyed writing poetry but most of all spending time with her son Gary and her grandchildren, who brought joy to her life.
The widow of the late Raymond J. Kalip, whom she shared 48 years of marriage with until his death in 2008, Patricia will be deeply missed and is survived by her sons, Gary R. Kalip and his companion Lissa Hartigan of North Andover, and David Rickard of Nashua, her brother, Martin L. Earley Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Haverhill, 6 beloved grandchildren, Channing Susan and Benjamin Gary Kalip, Michael and David Price, Brooke Walker and Candace Rickard and one great granddaughter, Mollie Walker. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Helen Kalip of Methuen and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Susan R. Kalip and her sister, Mary E. Fowler.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may pay their respects from 3-7 p.m. on Friday March 4th at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrerence St., Methuen. A Funeral Service will take place Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
