William “Bill” J. O’Brien, of Plymouth, passed away on February 22nd at Jordan Hospital at the age of 81. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Margaret A. (Crowley) of Plymouth and his children Mark of FL; Eileen O’Brien of Newport, NH; Joseph of Plymouth and Stephen of Sterling. He also leaves his 8 cherished grandchildren.
Bill was born in Cambridge, graduating from Cambridge Latin High School and Boston College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He has lived in Plymouth for 8 years coming from Hamilton, MA. He enjoyed reading, fishing, boating and especially spending time with his family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday, February 25th from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 26th at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Plymouth at 10 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Fund for the Needy, St. Bonaventure’s Church, P.O Box 996, Manomet, MA 02345.
