Samuel J. Niles, 85, of Dartmouth, MA passed away on February 15, 2011.
He was the beloved Husband of the late Anna Cosmo Niles.
Samuel served with the United States Army during World War II from September 30,1943 to April 28, 1946 and was a decorated World War II Veteran. He was also a fisherman out of the New Bedford Fishing Port for over 20 years.
He is survived by his children John Cosmo, Joseph Cosmo, Jack Cosmo his wife Georgia, Jeffery Cosmo his wife Linda, Donna Cosmo, Samuel Niles Jr. his wife Karen, George Niles his wife Robin and Starr Salvadore.
He is also survived by two daughters-in-law, Priscilla Cosmo and Betty Cosmo
Samuel was also blessed with and survived by 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was the beloved father of the late David Cosmo and Randolph Cosmo.
He was the beloved father-in-law of the late Mary Cosmo, Shirley May Cosmo and Rosemarie Cosmo
His Graveside Service for both Samuel and his late wife Anna Niles will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11 AM at the North Dartmouth Friends Cemetery (Quaker Cemetery) on Chase Rd, North Dartmouth. Family and Friends are welcome to attend.
