Joyce E. Jackson, 75, of New Bedford died February 22, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Josephine (McNamara) Jackson, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
She enjoyed painting, puzzles and TV game shows.
Survivors include several cousins, George J. Jackson and his wife Diane and Gary P. Jackson of New Bedford, Leo Jackson of Hudson, FL, Arthur Rousseau of Fairhaven and Elaine Reeves of Acushnet; many second and third cousins.
She was the cousin of the late Phyllis E. Monteiro and Donna M. Jackson.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday, February 26th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday, February 25th from 4-8 PM.
