Obituary

HELEN PATRICIA TRACEY, 80, of Greenville, RI passed away at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital on February 21, 2011 after a 3-month illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Edward W. Tracey. Born in East Providence on St. Patrick’s Day, she was the daughter of the late Ralph P. and Edith (McEachern) Woulfe.
A graduate of St. Mary Academy, Bay View, she retired as a District Manager for Avon Products. She was an accomplished crafter of original handmade dolls, Tracey Dolls, which were sold throughout RI.
She is survived by her children, Jeanne McAreavey and her husband James of Johnston, Robert Tracey and his wife Cynthia-Ann of North Providence, Beverly Dumas and her husband Leo of Arizona, and Edward T. Tracey; her grandchildren, Sean & Timothy Tracey, Attleboro Mayor Kevin Dumas, Erinn Theado, Jessica and Evan McAreavey; and, her great-grandchildren, Logan, Kylie, and Carter. She was also the sister of Edith Beaulieu of Warwick.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD FUNERAL HOME, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville at 9:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI at 10:00 am. Calling hours are Thursday, 4-7 pm. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Thomas Church, Providence. Burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
