Mr. Pierce Britton Allgood
North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the V.A. Hospital, Mr. Pierce Britton Allgood, 66. He was the son of the late Robert and Camilla Allgood.
Mr. Allgood was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked at Owens Corning Fiberglass and the U.S. Post Office for a number of years and excelled as a self- employed director of promotional sales before retirement.
Family members include his sons: Howard Britton Allgood, Maxwell Pierce Allgood; and brother, Robert W. Allgood and wife Jeanette.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. Willis Everette officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
