MARQUETTE HEIGHTS…Joy L. Trulock, 58, of Marquette Heights, passed away peacefully at her home at 9:44 a.m., Monday, February 21, 2011.
She was born on February 6, 1953 in Peoria to Ludwig and Leah Potter Faletti. Joy married Raymond “Bud” Trulock in Peoria on June 5, 1971. Bud survives.
Also surviving her mother, Leah Faletti of Morton; one son, Ty Trulock of Washington; one daughter, Melissa (Doug) Reinking of Marquette Heights; one sister, Bonnie (Don) Gudat of Bartonville; one brother, Jay (Renee) Faletti of Brimfield and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
Joy had worked as a department manager and pharmacy technician for K-Mart in Morton, last working in November of 2010.
She was a 1971 graduate of Woodruff High School in Peoria.
Joy loved spending time with her family especially cooking the holiday meals. She was an avid bowler and was of the Christian faith.
At her request, cremation rites will be accorded. Assisting the family is Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
