WORCESTER-M. Lillian O'Halloran, 95, formerly of 107 East Mountain Street, died Tuesday, January 6th in the Hermitage Nursing Home. Her husband was Thomas F. O'Halloran. She leaves a son Thomas J. O'Halloran of New Paltz, NY, a grandson Timothy Mowry of CA and 3 nieces, Beverly Stevens of NH, Janet Barch of Worcester and Linda Morgan of CT. She was predeceased by her daughter Bernice Mowry, a brother Henry McLachlan, 2 sisters Evelyn Anderson and Ada Dodier and a grandson Christopher Mowry.
She was born in Providence, RI the daughter of John and Emma (Vigeant) McLachlan, was a graduate of Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing, attended Boston College and Clark University. Mrs. O'Halloran worked as the director of nursing for 15 years, at Massachusetts State Hospital. She was previously employed at Hahnemann Hospital as a supervisor and nursing arts instructor, and also worked at Grafton State Hospital as a supervisor.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
