Obituary

WEST BROOKFIELD; William C. Adams, 86, of 19 Chapman Ave. passed away with his loving family at his side, Saturday, February 19 at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, 55 Lake Ave. No., after an illness.

He was the husband of Ruth (Labadie) who died in 1986.

He leaves a son, Geoffrey C. Adams and his wife Emilie of East Brookfield, 3 sisters; Marie Schneider and Margie Littleton, Leola Dymek all of PA and Evelyn Otremski of Riverside, NJ, 2 grandchildren, Dawn M. DeSavage and her husband Michael of Worcester and Julie M. Gadbois and her husband James of Brookfield, 2 great-grandchildren, Corbin Gadbois and Sophie DeSavage and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by 3 brothers; Lewis, Billy and Bobby Adams.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Lewis E. & Marie (Steacker) Adams.

Mr. Adams was a graduate of Cornwell Heights High School in Bensalem, PA. He was a Master Electrician working for IBEW Union in Worcester for 35 years before retiring in 1986. He served his country in the Army Air corps during WW II and was stationed in the European Theatre. He was a member of the West Warren Senior Center. He had the highest regards for farmers and those that work in the medical industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting his friends at the Senior Center.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at UMASS Lakeside 3 Cardiac ICU.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February, 23 at 10 A.M. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Warren Senior Center 2252 Main Street. West Warren, MA 01092.
