Norman A. Wobesky of Andover MA, son of the late Emma and Anton Wobesky of Taunton MA, husband of the late Beverly B. Wobesky, father of the late Anne Wobesky, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Thursday the 17th of February 2011 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. Norman was 83 years young. He leaves behind his son, Jonathan, of Brighton and Jonathan's partner, Virginia Mazur, of Jamaica Plain, and his beloved cats, Jinks, Amity, and Tzarina, and the dozens of friends he gathered throughout his very active life.
A memorial service celebrating Norman's memory will be held on Thursday, February 24th at The Charles Dewhirst Andover Funeral Home, 33 Pearson St., Andover with visiting hours from 2 to 4 pm and a memorial service at 4:00pm at the funeral home.Donations can be made in loving memory of Norman Wobesky to the Mass MSPCA, Nevins Animal Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
