Janet S. (Grant) Twomey of Dover and Pocasset died on Thursday January 8 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 66 years old. Born in Boston, Mrs. Twomey was a graduate of Girls Latin High School Class of 1955 and Newton College of the Sacred Heart Class of 1959. She worked for many years for Honeywell Bull as a Software engineer. She was a member of the Society of the Children of Mary and a former officer of the Guild of The Sacred Heart and the Powissett Garden Club of Dover. The beloved wife of Eugene W. Twomey, she was the daughter of the late Daniel A. and Jane A. (Kelley) Grant of Jamaica Plain. She was the sister of the late Daniel A. Grant Jr. of Dedham and the loving aunt of Veronica Alger of Dedham, Marguerite Grant of Cambridge, Rosemarie Colbert of Port Orange FL and Marie - Elena Moloney of Arlington. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Monday January 12 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of the Most Precious Blood at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
