Marie L. (Zito) Arcieri, of Tewksbury, formerly of Medford, died Thursday at Woodbriar of Wilmington. She was 98.
Mrs. Arcieri was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Emily (Tacelli) Zito. A Medford resident for over 60 years, Marie lived the past few years with her granddaughter in Tewksbury. Marie was a kind woman who was devoted to her family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Vincent A. Arcieri, She was a devoted mother to the late Vincent A. Arcieri Jr. and the late Lorraine M. Antonelli. She was a dear mother-in-law of Joyce Arcieri and the late Joseph Antonelli. She was a loving grandmother to Maria Arcieri, Laura Hulme and her husband Bernie, Dina Castiglio and her husband Allesandro and the late Vincent A. Arcieri, III. She was a loving great-grandmother to Tanya, Tiffany, Gina, Shalimar, Miranda, Vincent and Giusseppe and a dear sister to Marguerite Milano, Gloria Mucci the late Camille DiFronzo, Enis LaCesse and DeDe Adonunzio.
Her funeral procession will gather at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, February 22nd at 11 AM with a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 12 noon followed by entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday 4 - 8.
