Obituary

Dr. William E. Kinder, 76, of Natick passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 after a short illness.

He was born and raised in Watertown. He attended Tufts University and Tufts School of Medicine. Later he also obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk Law School.

After completing his residency at the Floating Hospital for Children he was drafted into the army where he and his family were relocated to Colorado. He served as a Captain. Upon his return to Massachusetts he settled in Natick where he began a medical practice.

40 years later and after treating four generations of patients Dr. Kinder retired in April of 2007. He loved every minute of being a doctor in Natick and the families he treated. Dr. Kinder was a caring Father. He thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with his children and his grandchildren.

Dr. Kinder will be greatly missed by his family. He leaves his children: William E. Kinder, Jr.; Sally A. Kinder; Daughter-in-law Jessica Brigham Kinder; His grandchildren: Sydney Colbi Kinder; Jack Brigham Kinder; and Madeleine Chadsey Kinder; His long-time companion Margaret Snow Reagan, her children Anne Christina Reagan and Daniel Reagan; His ex-Wife, Eleanor C. Kinder; And his many nieces and nephews. Dr. Kinder was predeceased by his only sibling Elizabeth “Betty” Shannon.

Visiting hours are Monday, February 21, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA. All are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church located at 44 East Central Street, Natick.
