Mrs. Victoria Neamtu
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Windemere-Golden Living, Mrs. Victoria Neamtu, 94, wife of the late Gheorghe Neamtu.
Mrs. Neamtu was born in Craiova, Romania, moved to Boston in October of 1978, and then moved to Augusta in November of 1996.
Family members include her son, Nicolae Neamtu and his wife Augustina of Apex, NC; daughter, Florentina Debreczeni of Augusta; two grandsons: Christian Neamtu of Augusta, Florin Neamtu and his wife Danielle of Apex, NC: and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Vasile Bitere officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 953 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
