Keefe, George J., Jr. "Bear" of Jamaica Plain on January 26, 2011. Beloved son of Madeline (Fay) Keefe of Jamaica Plain and the late George J. Keefe, Sr. who was a WW II, 2nd Marine Division Veteran of the Gilbert Islands and former Boston Police Officer. Brother of Kevin Keefe of Malibu, Los Angeles, CA. Nephew of John Fay of Alexandria, VA and Robert Fay of Sarasota, FL. George was a strong supporter of the US Troops in Iraq. He donated his entire collection of movies, DVD's and CD's to the troops. The US Military recognized George's support by awarding him a US Flag that had flown above Military Headquaters in Iraq. A Memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
