WORCESTER-Nova E. (Mitchell) Koski, 81 of 1060 Main Street died Sunday October 14th in her home. Her husband John J. Koski, Sr., died in 1978. She leaves 2 sons; John J. Koski, Jr. of Chatham and Robert E. Koski of Worcester, 2 sisters Beverly Dubois of Raynham and Shirley Bachon in Florida, and 3 greandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was born in Whitinsville the daughter of Alvie J. and Mary (Devlin) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School. Mrs. Koski at one time worked as a hairdresser and later for the City of Worcester first for the Worcester Police Department and later in the circulation department of the Worcester Public Library. She was a member of the 1060 Club, and enjoyed her family and was an avid reader of James Michner.
The funeral will be Thursday October 18th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:00 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
