Obituary

Mr. Thomas W Alosso, age 83, a lifelong resident of Medford died Tuesday in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was the beloved husband of the late Angela S. (Fazio) Alosso. Mr. Alosso was born and educated in Medford, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Scali) Alosso. He Joined the Navy at an early age and fought during WWII. During that time he served on an Aircraft Carrier, The USS Antietam. He worked for most of his life in the printing industry as a pressman, employed by The Container Corp of America. He also worked in the printing department of Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown retiring in 1991. Mr. Alosso was a member of the Arlington Men’s Club and loved playing cards and fishing. However nothing made him happier than spending time with his family, grand and great grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons: John Alosso and his wife Kathleen of Windham, NH, Thomas Alosso and his wife Joan of Windham, NH. He leaves 6 grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, Laurie, Jamie, Jackie and Jodie and 6 Great Grandchildren, Joslyn, Summer, Aiden, Dominic, Liam and Roman. Beloved brother of the late Joseph, James, Nicholas, Rocco, Sammy and Frank Alosso, Rosemarie Donovan and Mary Femmia. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD on Monday at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael’s Church, 512 High Street Medford, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
