Passed away January 22, 2011. Preceded in death by son James David and granddaugher Kimberly Kallstrom. Survived by wife of 65 years Lorraine; children Karen, Kathleen, Kenneth (Nadine), Elaine Wilde (Ronald) and Janice; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Mabel Hassinger and brother Oscar. WWII Army Veteran of the Pacific Campaign and fought in Guadal Canal. Service Thursday (1/27) at 11:00 AM at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1730 Old Hudson Road. Interment Fort Snelling. Visitation Wednesday 4-8:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and Thursday one hour before the service at church.
