Voncile Vernell Higginbatham Turner, age 73, Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Turner was born on January 27, 1938 to the late Bass Zeller and Artie Missy Nipper Higginbatham. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the Church of God of Prophesy for over 50 years. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Cornerstone Church of God of Prophesy. Survivors include: husband: Eldridge Lee Turner, Douglas, GA; daughters: Anita Rice, Marsha Hines, Douglas, GA; son: David Turner, Pensacola, FL; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
