Obituary

WORCESTER-Donald W. Kleczka, 74, formerly of 14 Knowles Road died Wednesday, January 7th in Clark Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Corinne E. (Hansen) Kleczka, 2 daughters, Patti J. Ruderman and Karen M. Gem both of Worcester, 2 sisters, Elizabeth LaPierre of Greenfield and Barbara Migiliozzi of Westboro, 3 grandsons, Jeffrey P. and Matthew R. Ruderman and Scott R. McCarthy, 3 great granddaughters, Amanda M., Allison M. and Ashley N. Ruderman and several nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester the son of Anthony W. and Lucy A. (Swift) Kleczka, graduated from South High School and attended Worcester Junior College for engineering. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving in Germany. Mr. Kleczka was Corporate Manager at Worcester Controls for 38 years, retiring in 1996. He was a loving and wonderful father to his children and grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 10th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30 until 10:30 AM the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Clark Manor Nursing Home, 1350 Main Street, Worcester, MA, 01603.
