Obituary

Oxford – Jerome E. “Hippie” Jenkins, 71, of Oxford died on Tuesday, February 15th in his home.

He is survived by his wife Ann M. (Mullen) Jenkins of Oxford; his children Natalie A. Jenkins of Dunlap, TN, Roxane L. Killen and her husband Tony of Ringgold, GA, Anthony Leo of Millbury, David J. Mancini of Worcester and Megan A. Mancini of Brimfield; a brother Thomas Jenkins and his wife Ginny of Auburn, MA; a sister Margo Gorczynski and her husband Jack of Dudley, MA; his former wife Patricia Jenkins of Dunlap, TN; 4 grandchildren Henry Nathaniel Forest Camp USAF and his wife Jennifer of Colorado, Patricia Ruth Lee Camp, William Everett Killen both of Ringgold, GA and Allison Mancini of Worcester; 2 great grandchildren Alana Ryan Camp and Alivia Shea Camp both of Colorado and nephews and nieces.

Jerry was born in Worcester son of the late Charles and Marie (Robbio) Jenkins and served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1960 spending time in the Mediterranean.

Mr. Jenkins owned and operated Annie’s Clark Brunch on Main Street in Worcester with his wife Annie since 1991. He also owned and operated Shadow Care Inc. since 1986. He previously worked with his father Charlie, at the Jenkins Shell Station on Southbridge Street in Worcester.

Jerry enjoyed many things in his lifetime but was most happy when he was with his best buddy and love of his life Annie. Hippie was a True American Original: Biker, Plower, Cook, Horticulturist, Lover, Fighter, a Great Man and Friend.

He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast who loved spending time on his motorcycle and loved his dog, Grunt, as well.

The funeral will be held on, Monday, February 21st from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Saint Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Worcester. Calling hours are on Sunday, February 20th from 2 to 5 PM in the funeral home.
