Obituary

Anna C. Vivolo, 99 of Boston’s North End, MA, died Saturday after a brief illness in the Leonard Florence Center For Living, Chelsea, MA.

Born in Stoughton, she lived in Boston all her life and was the daughter of the late Josephine (Maderasso) and Carlo Galasso.

Devoted mother of Leonard Vivolo and his late wife Constance of South Carolina, JoAnne Ruggiero and her husband Nicholas of Lynnfield, Phyllis Cesso and her husband B. Anthony of Revere. Cherished grandmother of Carla DeSimone and her husband David, Anthony Cessa and his wife Annmarie, Lisa Cesso, Nicholas Ruggiero Jr. and Mark Ruggiero. Also survived by 3 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Joseph Galasso and Lucy Squadrito both of Medford, also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, at 9:45 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
