Brian M.Petit, 59 of Myrna Road, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Kent County Hospital. He was the husband of Debra A. (Masterson) Petit.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry P. and Frances (Garvey) Petit. He had been a resident of East Greenwich for 25 years.
He was a steward for carpenter’s local #94, a member of Crompton Vets Assoc. and East Greenwich Veterans Fireman’s Assoc.
Besides his wife he is survived by his siblings: Andrea, David and Dr. Kevin Petit and Jeanne Ouellette and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Neill Petit.
Funeral Thursday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to RI Carpenters Scholarship Fund, c/o Local #94, 14 Jefferson Park Road, Warwick, RI 02888.
