Obituary

Oxford – William J. Walsh Jr., 48, of Oxford died on Friday, February 11th in Winchendon, MA after injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.

Mr. Walsh is survived by his wife of 23 years Donna A. (Levasseur) Walsh; his four daughters Felicia M. Walsh, Ashli L. Walsh, Jillian A. Walsh and April R. Walsh all of Oxford; his parents William Walsh Sr. and Janet M. (LaMountain) Walsh of Worcester; two brothers Robert J. Walsh of Southbridge, MA and Michael A. Walsh of San Francisco, CA and many nephews and nieces.

Bill was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School. He worked as a journeyman plumber for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 4 for the past 25 years.

Mr. Walsh was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webster and loved life, the ocean and anything to do with outdoor sporting. He was most happy though when he was around his family, especially his four daughters.

Family and friends are invited to the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester on Wednesday, February 16th from 5 to 8 PM to pay their respects to Bill’s family. A funeral service will be held in the First Baptist Church 33 East Main Street Webster at 11 AM on Thursday, February 17th. Private burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the William J. Walsh Jr. Family Trust Fund c/o Webster Five 343 Main Street Oxford, MA 01540.
