Pauline D. Young, 86, of Manchester, died February 10, 2011.
She was born in Manchester, October 30, 1924 to Ernest and Martha (Golle) Dillner.
She had been a member for over fifty years of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, and for the last several years a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
She was a proud graduate of Manchester High School West, class of 1942. She worked at the “Rationing Board” during World War II, then as an insurance underwriter for Lockwood-Bodwell, and later for the Insurance Exchange for over thirty years.
She will be remembered as a loving, caring, patience spirit that always met the needs of others. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed.
Family members include her daughter Martha Young-Donohue, and her husband, Stephen, of Manchester; her son, Thomas J. Young and his wife, Irene, of Bethlehem; 4 grandchildren, Ellen, Brian, and Kevin Donohue, all of Manchester, Timothy Young, of PA; sisters Elsie Dahlberg, of GA, Erika Limmer of Elsterberg, Germany. She was predeceased by her husband, George Young on January 1, 1995.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Elm St. Manchester. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, Donald St. Bedford.
