Debra Lynn Kent, 54, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, in her sleep at her home in Peoria.
She was born July 2, 1956, in Peoria to Judy Pribble and Jim Newman. Judy survives. Deb married Todd L. Kent on Dec. 14, 1994, after meeting at Jim's Steakhouse in Peoria. He survives and will miss her dearly.
She was the oldest of five children, Jimmy Newman, Bobby Newman, Cathy Barriga and Brenda Behm. All survive. Also surviving is her son, Allen Huddleston of Prescott, Ariz., 15 nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.
Deb was particularly fond of her deceased Grandma and Grandpa Pribble.
Deb worked in the restaurant business for 25 years.
She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and also enjoyed gardening, working with her husband on catering jobs and taking care of her most-loved pet Chihuahua, Momma.
Deb was a kind-hearted, loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend. She will be remembered as a bright ray of sunshine in many people's lives.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the South Side Mission in memory of Deb Kent
