Newcomb, Jean M. (Ryan) of Hull, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 9, 2011 at the age of 63.
Beloved wife of Richard W. Newcomb. Loving mother of Keith and his wife Michelle of Hull and Ryan and his fiancee Laurie Clifford of Braintree. Devoted "Nana" to Jake, Sean, and Eric. Daughter of the late Sylvia and Henry Ryan. Sister of Thomas Ryan of NY, the late Henry Ryan, and the late Cheryl Durgin. Jean was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jean worked for 26 years as a business analyst, most recently for Hewlett Packard in Hingham. Her family describes her as their “Angel on Earth”. She was a loving and generous person who always put others in front of herself.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM.
Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
