Wanda A. Kubowicz, of Natick, passed away on February 8, 2011. She was 75 years old.
Born in Poland, Wanda was raised and educated in Poland. She left Poland in her 20’s first going to England and eventually settling in Bridgeport and Fairfield, CT. She was employed as an accountant prior to retiring. In 2007 Wanda relocated to Natick to be closer to her beloved daughter and her family. A very independent and kind-hearted person, Wanda never forgot her family in Poland and would often send them “care packages” throughout her life. She always thought of other people and would often put their needs in front of her own. Wanda enjoyed baking cakes and pies, sewing, knitting, and was well known for her ability to fix just about anything. Above all else in life, Wanda adored her granddaughters who she called her “treasures”.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah and her husband Mitu Agarwal; her granddaughters, Milla and Juliette; her sister Maria; nephew Les and his wife Kasia and their children Konrad and Dominik, and several other nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sister Teresa and her brother Bronislaw.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, Natick at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will take place at a later date in Poland.
