John F. Nugent, 53, of Manchester, died in a house fire at his home, February 8, 2011.
He was born November 22, 1957, in Patterson NJ to Alfred and Regina (Hunt) Nugent.
Raised in Ridgewood NJ, he attended Bergen Catholic HS and later Boston University where he grew a passion for Crew. Graduating in 1979 he began working full-time while simultaneously attending Suffolk Law School, finishing in 1986 with high honors.
John will be remembered as a selfless person with a great sense of humor. He was enthusiastic supporter of his family, and all of their interests.
He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Family members include his wife of 28 years, Maureen (O’Brien) Nugent, of Manchester; his children, John “Jake” Nugent, of CT, Caitlin Nugent, of CT, Amelia Nugent, of Manchester; 7 siblings, Alfred, Mary, Elizabeth, Frances, Patrick, Robert, Sarah; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at St. Catherine of Siena parish, Webster St., Manchester.
