Mary Lucille Williams, age 97, of West Green, GA passed away on Monday, February 7. 2011 at the Bacon County Hospital, Alma, GA. Mrs. Williams was born on January 14, 1914 in Jeff Davis County, GA to the late William Calvin and Martha Googe Lewis. Mrs. William is the widow of Thomas Aubrey Williams. She was a homemaker and she was the oldest member of Burkett Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in the Douglas City Cemetery. Survivors
include: daughters: Juanelle Carver, West Green, GA, Rebecca Ann Kendrick, Sycamore, GA; sons: Charles Wilbur Williams, West Green, GA, Phillip Lewis Williams, Sr., Jesup, GA; sister: Elois Gregory, Reidsville, GA; 21 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
