Donald J. Tingley, 71 of Chester, NH, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mr. Tingley was born in Manchester, NH on August 4, 1932, a son of the late Arthur and Eva (Belanger) Tingley. He was a resident of Chester for the past 30 years, formerly living in Londonderry and Derry Village. He was employed as a carpenter and pool installer for the Belanger Pool Center. He attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Lester Chase Post #9 in Derry. He enjoyed woodworking and reading.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teda M. (Gallien) Tingley of Chester and one brother, Richard C. Tingley of Portsmouth.
