Linda " Dee " Taylor left this world to join her Heavenly Father after a brief illness on February 6, 2011.
She was born in Houlka , Miss. to Quinn and Addie Johnson and later grew up in Jackson, Tenn.. where she graduated front High School.
She later attended and graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Bham, Alabama, and received her BSN from Florida Southern College. Her nursing career was extensive in critical care, managed care and as a consultant working with centers to achieve accreditation status.
Dee was married to A.E. "Gene" Taylor who preceded her in death in 2004 following 36 wonderful years of marriage . Dee and Gene lived
in various cities, spending many years in Orlando and eventually moved to Louisville in 2001. Their greatest joys were church activities and family times with their children; Nathan (Cindy) of Louisville, Jon (Elissa) of Arlington, Texas and Audrey of Seattle, Washington.
Grandchildren , Tori,Ella,Edie and Hank. Step-children Butch of Vancouver and Sharena of Indianapolis and step-grandchildren Elizabeth,Elesha, Albert and George all of Indianapolis, Indiana,
A memorial service will be held at Christian Assembly Church 9020 Stonestreet Road Louisville, Ky on Saturday at 2 P.M. February 12,2011
Based on her love of gardening Dee's request was that any memorials be made to the Taylor Memorial Garden 3812 Crestridge Drive
