In Taunton, February 6, 2011 Nolia Marie Nadeau, age 80 passed away in Wedgemere Nursing Home peacefully after a lengthy period of failing health. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Edmund J. Nadeau Sr. She was born in Taunton to her late parents William & Nolia (Jalbert) Marvel. Marie had lived her entire life in Taunton, was educated in Taunton and graduated from the former St. Mary’s High School. She was a member of the Oakland Seniors, Holy Union Associates and enjoyed camping and traveling. Above all Marie cherished her time with her family especially watching her grandchildren’s sporting events. Marie is survived by her seven children; Edmund J. Nadeau Jr. and his wife Sandra of East Taunton, Alfred J. of Taunton, William of Taunton, Linda Redmond & her husband William of Berkley, Debra Valdes & her husband James of Falmouth, Margaret Alexander & her husband Fred of Somerset and Anna Bell & her husband Thomas of Colorado. Marie also leaves her 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and her late brother William Marvel. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Thursday, February 10th at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Annunciation of the Lord Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting on Weds from 5-8 pm.
