FALL RIVER … Stasia (Misek) Ouellette, 90, of Fall River died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Fall River Jewish Home.
She was the widow of Paul Ouellette.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late John and Mary (Stanek) Misek and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She was employed as a sewing machine operator at the former Rochelle manufacturing until her retirement.
Mrs. Ouellette enjoyed painting, singing, playing the guitar, and she entertained locally under the name “Yodeling Blondie”.
Survivors include 4 sisters: Stella Dubord of Taunton, Eugenia Garneau and Rose Tencza both of Fall River, Leona Coutu of RI, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank Misek, Blanche Piszcz, Nellie Leduc, Anne Carotunutti, Helen Richardson, and Chessie Misek.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 10AM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday 9 – 10 AM.
