Beverly M. O'Shea,, 81, of 7 Church Street, died Monday, January 31, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the wife of the late John J. O'Shea.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Clinton F. Adams and Sarah B. (Benson) Adams, she lived in Greenville since 1993. She was a 1947 graduate of Saint Francis Xavier's Academy.
Beverly was an Administrative Assistant with the Rhode Island Disability Council before retiring. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, Senior Services, Smithfield Senior Center, and the Greenville Manor Association. She was named Woonsocket Senior Services' Volunteer of the Year in 1995 for her work at Greenville Manor.
She is survived by her children Terrence M. O'Shea of Foster, Kevin C. O'Shea of Nelson, CA, Kim M. Tetrault of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kerry A. O'Shea of Foster, and Kelly A. Inman of Coventry; her brother Clinton F. Adams, Jr. of Ogdensburg, NY, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Martha M. Marshall, Shirley G. Levesque, and Keith G. Adams.
Her funeral will be held Monday, February 7, at 11:30 A.M. from the Anderson Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation 10-11 A.M..
