Mrs. Rebecca J. Taylor
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, February 4, 2011, Mrs. Rebecca J. Taylor, 72.
Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong native of Augusta. She was a member of Kiokee Baptist Church. She worked as a bus driver for the Columbia Co. Board of Education for 10 years. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Eastern Star-Martinez Chapter and in the Shriner’s Lady Auxiliary. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family members include son: Mark W. Taylor and wife Esther; and grandchildren: Charlene Ruvo, Joshua Taylor, and Joseph Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Wade David Taylor, Jr., and son Wade David Taylor III.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuck Cromer, David Cromer, David McCollum, Cody McCollum, Travis Cromer and Pete Knox.
