Josephine V. (Lamont) Erickson, 93, of Bedford died January 4, 2004 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in New York, NY on February 24, 1910, she was the daughter of Vincent and Frances (Reina) Lamont. She lived in Framingham, MA for many years before moving to Bedford five years ago.
Along with her husband, she owned and operated Erickson Florist in Waltham, MA for 25 years. She later worked at Bradlee’s Department Store in Framingham for 10 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Chester Erickson in 1983 and by a son, Ronald W. Erickson in 2003.
The family includes a daughter, Mary Bowler of Bedford; a daughter in law, Karen (Duncan) Erickson of Palmdale, CA; a grandson, Michael T. Bowler of Marlboro, MA; a sister, Antoinette Cuccia of New York; nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday January 10, 2004 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 199 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
