WORCESTER-Harold R. “Herk” O’Donnell, Jr., 61, died Wednesday, February 2 at UMASS Memorial Hospital. He leaves his partner in life of 35 years, Pat; two daughters, Mindy of Arizona and Ashley of Worcester and two sons, Harold and Scott O’Donnell of Worcester. He also leaves three sisters, Cathy Anderson, Nanette Bombard and Melissa O’Donnell; a brother Gary O’Donnell; two step-brothers, Robert and Joseph Miller, five grandchildren, nephews and nieces. A son, Keith O'Donnell predeceased him.
He was born in New London, CT, the son of Harold R. and Melissa M. (McLaney) O’Donnell. He worked as a bartender at Brothers Three and prior to that worked for New England Grocers. Herk was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Red Sox and Patriots. He also loved music, especially the Beatle’s. He was very loved and was Pat's heart.
