WORCESTER – Mary C. (Hogan) McKnight, 88, of 244 Belmont Street died Saturday, January 3 in the Odd Fellows Home.
Her husband John T. McKnight died in 1988. She leaves a son Thomas McKnight husband of Beth of St. Louis, MO; three daughters Doris Henderson wife of Paul E. of Worcester, Mary Ellen Foster of Worcester and Theresa Robinson wife of Phil of Middleboro; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sons Michael and Paul McKnight; a daughter Alice McKnight; four brothers her twin Francis, Joseph, Leo and John V. Hogan; two sisters Anna Briggs and Alice Wagner. She was born in Schenectady, NY daughter of Michael J. and Ellen (Kielty) Hogan.
Mrs. McKnight was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She was a children’s nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Orphanage in Troy, New York.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 8 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 7 from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
