Mr. Carl Ray Eaton, age 63, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Universal Health Care of King. He was born in Surry County on June 25, 1947 to the late Roby and Dellie Heath Eaton. Mr. Eaton worked for the Town of Pilot Mountain in the Street Department and was a member of Missionary Baptist. Mr. Eaton is survived by one sister, Lottie (Jackie) Faries of Pilot Mountain; one niece, Jacqueline (Dale) Dezern); two great nieces; and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Dillie H. Eaton and Roby L. Eaton; one brother, Bobby Eaton. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 2:00 P.M with the Rev. T.J. Tilley officiating with interment to follow in the Pilot Mountain City cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM prior to the service. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Universal Health Care of King.
