THOMPSON, ALVERNA GOODMAN, 83, passed away Saturday January 29, 2011.
She was a retired clerk for Roses Dept. store and a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Dewie Thompson.
Survivors include her children, Doug Thompson (Debbie), Lisa Moore (Danny) and Cara Vineyard (Scott); five grandchildren; one step grandchild; three great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, Leo Goodman (Betty); and sisters, Dorothy Jaggers (Willie) and Louise Thurman.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation, Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m .
