LEICESTER; Emile J. Plourde, Jr. 71 of 320 Marshall St., died Thursday Jan. 1 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was the husband of Jeanne E. (Mallette) Plourde who died last year. He leaves a step daughter Donna M. Pomeroy of Leicester with whom he lived, four sons Emile J. Plourde of Prattsburgh, N.Y., Joseph R. Plourde of Shrewsbury, Glenn Plourde of Auburn and Anthony Plourde of Burlington, Vt., three daughters Brenda Kibbe of E.Dennisport, Joanne Hewett of PenYan, N.Y., and Melody Linnell of Wales, three step daughters Eloise Laramee of Oxford, Patricia Siwek and Janet Pelletier both of Leicester, a sister Doris Emerson of Midlothian, Va., 19 grand, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Plourde was an oil burner technician for area oil delivery companies most recently Pioneer Oil Co. in Worcester before retiring in 1985. Born in Concord, N.H. he was the son of Emile J. and Mary (Pinard) Plourde, Sr. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday Jan. 7 at 10a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1163 Main St.,Leicester.
