David R. Arsenault, 85 of Peabody passed away on January 26, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Geri (Papalardo) Arsenault, the father of sons Richard W. Arsenault of Reading, Robert and Christen Roderick of Billerica, Arthur Roderick of Peabody, Glenn Roderick of Concord, 8 grandchildren and one great grandson. Also a dear best friend, Tim.
As a young man, David served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Now a Veteran, for many years he worked as a carpenter which he loved doing.
He was the son of the late Mary and John Arsenault of Reading. He is survived by his brother James Arsenault of North Reading and sisters Jean Donovan of Salisbury, Agnes McDonald of Brookfield, NH and Anna Colannino of Stoneham. He was predeceased by brothers Leo and Lawrence Arsenault of Reading and Walter Arsenault of Haverhill, sisters Rose Houle of Reading and Rita Arsenault of North Reading. David was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday from 11am – 1pm in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
