Methuen, MA – Cecile M. (Brien) Phillips, 83, died Tuesday January 25, 2011 at the Holy Family Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Cecile was born in Lowell the daughter of Joseph and Melanie (Laframboise) Brien. Mrs. Phillips had formerly been employed with Hewlett Packard of Andover.
Cecile was a Communicant of Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
She thoroughly enjoyed beating the odds at Foxwoods, and going home with their money, Bingo, Ceramics, but more importantly her family, and was considered to be the consummate grand and greatgrandmother.
The widow of Wasyl Phillips Cecile is survived by children; Linda and husband Paul Boivin of Methuen, William and wife Patricia Phillips of Derry, NH, Stephen and wife Bonnie Phillips of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Larry and wife Janet Phillips of Salem, NH, and Kathy and her husband Glenn Arseneault of Hampstead, NH, one brother and sister-inlaw Leon and wife Nancy Brien in Dracut, 12 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church with entombment to follow in Saint-Mary Immaculate Conception Mausoleum of Lawrence.
Friends will be warmly received on Sunday from 3-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
