Kathleen J. (McDonnell) Korelec, 66, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Friday, January 14 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Daughter of Irene Y. (Dubberlin) McDonnell of Stoughton and the late John J. McDonnell, she was born in Subiaco, Australia. She was raised in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School. She was a resident of Stoughton for the past 30 years. Kathleen was a secretary at U.S. Food in Canton for 5 years before retiring 4 years ago. She previously worked for Raytheon for 8 years and was the office manager at Gloves, Inc. in Taunton for 25 years. She was a member of the Afghan Hound Club of America and raised and showed dogs at the Westminster Dog Show. She was also named Breeder of the Year for Afghan Hounds.
In addition to her mother, Kathleen is survived by her brother, Patrick J. McDonnell of Millville and her nephew John McDonnell.
