Obituary

Ruth A. (Kendlehart) King, of Stoughton , passed away after a brief illness, Friday January 2,2004, in The Copley At Stoughton Nursing Facility. She was 63 years old. She was the beloved wife of Edward C. King and the late Joseph J. Battles Jr.

Born: December 24,1940, she was the daughter of the late Mr. James L. and Mrs. Mary C. (Winters) Kendlehart.

She was a graduate of South Boston High School. She was employed as an Accounts Receivable Manager with The Importing Company: Chadwick Miller located in Canton,MA.

She was a Country Music enthusiast and loved dancing.

She was dedicated to her family, and loved them very much.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Kathleen S. Shea of Taunton,MA,Joseph J. Battles III of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and James L. Battles and his wife Jamie of Brockton,MA. Also survived by three sisters: Judith Conway of Goodyear, Arizona, Sheila Bolosky of Marlboro,MA and Christina Lopez of Westford,MA. Also survived by eight grand-children and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton on Monday January 5,2004 at 8:00 A.M., followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in St. James Catholic Church, 542 Page Street, Stoughton at 9:00 A.M. The Pastor Rev.John E. Kelly officiating. Interment will be private. Visiting hours are on Sunday January 4,2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
