In Taunton, January 25, 2011 Louise G. (Thompson) Thomas, age 86 passed away in Morton Hospital after a brief illness. Louise was the wife of the late Joseph Thomas. She was born in Providence, RI. to her late parents Robert & Grace (Hughes) Thompson. Louise was educated in Cranston, RI. schools. Louise has lived in Taunton for the last sixty years. She was employed as an inspector for the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro. She was a former member of the Westside Senior’s, St. Joseph’s Women’s Guild and enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Louise is survived by her five children; John R. Thomas of Philadelphia, PA., Paul J. Thomas of Beaumont, Texas, Joseph P. Thomas of Taunton, Barbara J. Thomas of Taunton and Maribeth Thomas of Taunton. She also leaves her eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 28th at 10 am. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton.
