Manuel M. Pedro, 74, of Stoughton, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Alice M. (Hudson) Pedro. Born in Cambridge, he was raised and educated in Somerville Schools. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Pedro worked as a computer operator for Teradyne for many years. He retired at age 60. He was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children William J. Pedro & his wife Jean of Quincy, Donna M. Pedro of Stoughton & Carol A. Ramsey & her husband John of Middleboro. He was the grandfather of Christine Pedro, Kevin Pedro and Caitlyn Ramsey.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 25 from 4-7 PM with Funeral Services being held at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Manuel's name may be made to the Home of Little Wanderers, 161 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
