Marilyn Abkowitz (Berger) of Raymond, NH died on January 23, 2011. She was 61 years old. Marilyn was the beloved wife of 39 years to Alan Abkowitz.
Marilyn was born in Brookline and attended the Everett Schools and high school. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Marilyn was an Educational Tutor for the Hooksett, NH Memorial School and enjoyed astrology, numerology, reading and following biorhythms.
Marilyn was the devoted mother of Jeff Abkowitz. She was the dear sister of Theodore Berger and Sheila Genica of Thomasville, GA. Marilyn was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq.) Chelsea on Tuesday, January 25 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Everett. Memorial observance at the home of Amy and Ron Romanowski following interment until 7PM. Contributions in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Road, Weston, MA 02493.
