Claire I. (MacDonald) Astrauskas, 84, of Medway, died, Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the wife of Frederick R. Astrauskas who died in 1995.
Born in Arlington on July 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alexander J. and Nellie May (MacLeod) MacDonald.
Mrs. Astrauskas was a resident of Medway for the past fourteen years and formerly resided in Franklin.
A homemaker for most of her life, Mrs. Astrauskas had worked at Polaroid Corporation in the early 50’s.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynne Carchio and her husband David of Mendon and Cindy Stone and her husband Kevin of Medway, five grandchildren, Alexander and Cody Carchio and Keith, Andria and Jessica Stone and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gordon, Stewart and Leod MacDonald.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, January 29 at 11 a.m. in the Medway Community Church, 193 Main St. in West Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
